Choosing a Disposal

Nearly every garbage disposal on the market works with our sinks. InSinkErator, Moen, American Standard, Emerson, Franke, Barracuda, and most others mount directly to the hardware included in your Centerpiece® Drain kit. We recommend the InSinkErator Evolution 1HP — it's quiet, powerful, dependable, and pairs flawlessly with our mounting hardware.
How to choose a garbage disposal compatible with the Seamless Centerpiece Drain

A few brands may require an adapter: Kenmore, KitchenAid, Waste King, and Whirlaway, along with batch feed models of any brand. If you have one of these, email sales@creategoodsinks.com or call 513-327-8078 and we'll send you an adapter free of charge.

Do you have any specific disposal recommendations?

We have had the best experience with Insinkerator's Evolution 1 HP continuous feed disposal. They are powerful, quiet, and work flawlessly with our mounting hardware.

Please note: the InSinkErator LEDefense will not work with our sinks.
Continuous Feed vs. Batch Feed disposals

Continuous feed disposals have the power initiated by either a wall switch or an air switch (in the countertop).

Batch feed disposals have the power initiated by inserting a plug in the mouth of the drain.

We generally recommend continuous feed disposals. Batch feed models leave an unsightly open hole when the plug is removed and the large plug is an eyesore and a nuisance.
