Step 1: Prepare the Hardware

1.) Remove the EZ Mount hardware:

• A.) Take the hardware off the disposal by loosening the mounting ring. Use the outer “ears” on the ring for extra leverage.

2.) Save key parts:

• A.) Remove the stock hardware from your garbage disposal.
• B.) Ensure you Keep the stainless-steel mounting ring and the black, rubber cushion ring from your original disposal. You will need these in order to attach the new adapter.

Step 2: Assemble the Adapter w/ Stock Parts

2.) Insert the adapter:

• A.) Slide the Create Good adapter down through the top of the metal mounting ring.
• B.) Check: The adapter’s widest flange should sit loosely on top, facing upward. The pointed ears on the outside of the mounting ring should also point upward.
• C.) Lock with the cushion ring: Insert the disposals stock, black, rubber cushion ring into the bottom of the mounting ring with the “sink side” label facing up. Snap it into the gap between the inside of the ring and adapter to lock the adapter in place.
• D.) Reattach: Screw the assembled mounting ring back onto the disposal.

Step 3: Mount onto the Sink

3A.) Attach the mounting seal:

• A.) Stretch the Create Good rubber mounting seal over the sink’s drain flange.
• B.) Check: The outside groove of the seal should be near the underside of the sink. The drain flange rests in the upper inside cut-out of the seal.
• C.) Tip: Use a little dish soap if the seal is difficult to stretch.
• D.) Reattach: Screw the assembled mounting ring back onto the disposal.

3B.) Connect the disposal:

• A.) Lift and slightly tilt the disposal, sliding the adapter’s top flange into the lower inside cut-out of the rubber seal. Apply pressure as needed to stretch the disposal outward, so as to allow clearence for the remainder of the adapter to fit into the seal.
• B.) Once the adapter is in, aeat the disposal in flush with the drain flange.
• C.) Gently rotate the disposal in a circular motion until it is fully seated, then spin it to ensure it hangs evenly.

Step 4: Secure and Finish

4.) Clamp it on:

• A.) Wrap the stainless steel C-clamp (from your Create Good Sinks' Drain Kit) around the outside of the rubber mounting seal.

Step 5: Insert the splash guard

5.) Place Create Good Splash Guard into drain

• A.) From the top of the sink, simply drop your Create Good Sinks' splash guard into the drain.
