A Workspace, Not Just a Sink
Most sinks do one job: hold water. A large workstation sink does the work of your whole counter. From 37 to 84 inches wide, the built-in ledge lets cutting boards, colanders, and drying racks slide across the basin — so you prep, wash, strain, and dry in one place instead of shuffling between kitchen zones. The extra width handles oversized cookware with room to spare, and sinks 39" and wider accommodate dual faucets so two cooks can work without crowding.
Choose Your Sink Before Your Cabinets
Your base cabinet decides your sink — unless you decide first. Once cabinets are ordered, a large workstation sink may no longer fit. Deciding early costs nothing: a 40" sink just means a 42" base cabinet. Deciding late is expensive or impossible. Plan around the fixture you'll use most, then build the cabinets to match.
An Engineered Drain that Seals Perfectly Every Time
For over 80 years, sink drains have been sealed with plumber's putty. It dries, it cracks, it leaks. The Centerpiece® Drain is engineered to seal without it — no putty, no guesswork, no callback to the plumber.
Built for the Long Haul
A sink this size has to be built like it. We start with a flat sheet of 16-gauge, 304-grade stainless steel and weld every seam by hand — never stamped, never stretched thin. Half-inch radius corners give you maximum usable basin space and wipe clean easily. Sound dampening keeps water and dishes quiet, and the smart low divider on double bowl models holds large items at a relaxed angle while keeping zones separate.
