Create Good Sinks' stainless steel strainer basket is designed to sit slightly elevated, in one orientation, to allow water to pass through the drain while catching debris, and when rotated, will sit deeper in the drain slots to plug the drain for the sink to hold water.
We also designed our strainer baskets to fit both our drain fitting and rubber splash guard so you won't have to use a cheap plastic plug anymore!
This item is intended for use ONLY with Create Good Sinks' patented seamless drain. Is not compatible with any other sink, disposal, or drain manufacturer.

This review is only about the strainer basket, not the sink itself. We are very happy with the sink and really like its quality and design.
Unfortunately, this is the second strainer basket from Create Good Sinks that has been damaged when the garbage disposal is activated. I’m not sure if this is due to the strainer’s design or if the garbage disposal unit sits too close to the bottom of the sink, causing the strainer to get sucked in if it’s not perfectly flat on the drain opening where the basket rests.

Seven years ago, we remodeled our home and installed a 31” workstation kitchen sink—and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The included ledge accessories, such as the cutting board, steel rolling mat, and stainless steel bottom grid, have helped keep the sink looking brand new. Plus, the extra counter space it provides has been a fantastic bonus!

LOVE LOVE LOVE MY WORKSTATION SINK!
I purchased the 37" Ledge workstation Sink - Single Bowl - Offset Drain Left (5LS37L) in June of 2019 as part of my kitchen remodel. I also purchased the Stainless Steel Beverage Tub (5T11) and the Ledge Bamboo Accessory Package (LCB15).
Before the remodel I had a double bowl sink that was very cumbersome to use. After the sink was installed I was amazed at the volume and flexibility of the new sink. It will fit a complete backing sheet, fry pans, and a stew pot, plus more (see photos). It is a godsend when it comes to large dinner parties. The cutting board provides more counter space, the beverage tub provides a place for ice and converts to a small wash basin if need be. After dinner, the sink can hold dirty plates and glassware for twenty people.
The protective Stainless-Steel Grid stays in the bottom of the sink and the Stainless Steel Roll Mat stays on top as a drying rack most of the time. Nether have shown any wear or distortion even after years of heavy cast iron pans being washed banged around and set to dry. The sink remains dent and scratch free and still shines.
The drain splash guard was damaged recently so I called customer service to order a new one plus a strainer basket that some how went missing during the remodel.
The representative was very kind and told me both parts would be shipped out the next day free of charge. WOW! FREE! over five years later! FREE! Try that with any sink you are going to get from a box store or plumbing supply boutique.
I am the chef, my kitchen is small, I wish I had more counter space but I would never trade for a smaller sink nor would I purchase any other brand of stainless steel sink.

I specifically asked that the shipping address include the unit number at the street address so that the parcel could be delivered safely to the right place. The unit number was left off of the street address, and the parcel was almost lost because of the omission.

One of our strainer baskets arrived broken. However, we did not realize this until our sinks were installed many months after receiving them. Once I notified CGS of the issue, they immediately sent me a new strainer! Thank you so much for your prompt response. I have 3 Create Good Sinks in my kitchen. They have been installed for nearly 3 years. Look great and function even better. The only problem I have had is with one sink strainer basket which I broke before I figured out how to use it. My fault totally. The strainer basket was replaced at no charge. Thank you, Create Good Sinks! I love your products:)

The customer service is great -- I bought a sink four
years ago that still looks brand new. The strainer basket
plastic bottom was a little worn. Called the distributer and for a nominal charge they sent out a replacement right away and added some rubber bumpers to refurbish the grid sink saver.
The quality of the sinks and parts is fantastic.

I had lost our strainer basket at some point. And while I couldn’t find it on the website, when I called, someone picked up immediately and told me where to find it. It was less expensive than Amazon and came right away. I couldn’t be more pleased with the sink and accessories that I had purchased when we renovated our kitchen.
Well, 2 years doesn’t seem like a long life for a strainer basket. But I suppose, it is <$10, and the replacement fixed the issue of the old work one. We love our sink design. My only request is that a more resilient gasket material be used to increase the working life of the strainer basket.

I bought my sink as part of my kitchen project 2 years ago. Couldn’t find my strainer anywhere, requested a new one fully expecting to buy it and it was shipped to me at no charge. Appreciate the great customer service!
The original basket strainer that came with the sink did not hold water very well. I called to see what could be done, and a new “improved style” strainer was shipped to me free of charge. It has worked wonderfully since I’ve had it! Thanks a bunch to Create Good Sinks!

We were so happy to find the company that created our ledger kitchen sink which was installed by our builder. Upon finding the company, representatives were all too helpful in providing necessary supplies. After five years of daily use, our strainer basket had reached it's demise. Luckily, the manufacturer name was on the handle and the company quickly provided us with a replacement as well as opening the door to additional components for this sink.

We had purchased a 46" workstation, and the strainer on one side of the sink did not hold water. We shared this concern with the representative and were sent a new strainer, which worked perfectly. Now, both sides of our sink can hold water without any issues.
